From the beginning of 2017 onward, Valued has been privileged to give part of our profits toward global organization Speed The Light.
In 1944, Ralph Harris, the head of the National Youth Ministries department, prayed for a way to give Assemblies of God students the opportunity to help missionaries in their work. Shortly thereafter, Speed The Light (STL) was formed.
The mission is in the name, but Speed The Light is so much more than that. STL is a worldwide student-initiated, volunteer organization focused on speeding the light and message of Jesus by supporting missionaries in need. They also fund many other projects like building water wells in African villages, and Project Rescue, which works in red light districts to rescue women from sex-trafficking. STL works in over 180 countries globally, and has raised over $300 million to date.
